We're a remote-first anti-fraud cybersecurity firm based in Cambridge, with our team working around the world. We're an NCSC (a part of GCHQ) For Startups Alumni Startup. We started out in EdTech but we're now mainly focused on anti-fraud, cybersecurity solutions, services and products.


We specialise in fraud intelligence - combining research data, threat intelligence (phishing, smishing), OSINT, transaction analytics and artificial intelligence to prevent fraud helping consumers and businesses stay safe online...

We've analysed over 3000 smishing and phishing attacks to better understand the nature of threats emerging from the fraud and scams landscape as well as threat actor behaviour. Our attack analysis algorithms and natural language driven anti-fraud work provide explainable cyber-fraud insights around the language fraudsters use to manipulate and convince their targets.

MONITORED


We actively monitor and audit the consumer-facing fraud controls and capability of over 10 traditional banks and challenger banks across the UK driven by their digital footprint, comparing it to the types, nature and volume of scams we're noticing and the ability of consumers to detect fraud. We're expanding our list of firms monitored to include Parcel Delivery firms. The firms we monitor include HSBC, Barclays, Monzo, Royal Mail and so on.

We've identified and developed over 150 capabilities to enable the prediction, prevention, detection, reporting and management of fraud and scams. These capabilities enable organisations to unite their efforts to fight fraud - we're developing this research work into our FraudOS™, our new comprehensive fraud operating system designed to consolidate and improve an organisation's fight against fraud.

FRAUD OS

We’re developing a new operating system and control model for fraud that goes beyond cyber-fraud fusion – the combination of cybersecurity and fraud operations.


Cyber-fraud fusion is only a part of our Fraud OS, but our innovative Fraud OS approach goes beyond fighting fraud now and we’ve designed extended capabilities included in our Fraud OS that can prepare an organisation to face future fraud challenges while prompting the organisation to learn from current fraud/scam incidents. Our Fraud OS connected approach is an overarching governing model that drives an organisation’s fight against fraud.

PRODUCTS

Our products are designed to help consumers and employees to accurately detect cyber-fraud easily, with AI reading in between the lines. We're building SenseText - we envision SenseText as the sixth sense for ethical cyber-fraud detection, SenseText is marker-driven deeply analysing communication language with confidence and clarity to produce unique insights.

We are forward-thinking, we're innovative and we love quality, so we have had to dispel the traditions and expectations of a typical team; instead we use a total-quality agile approach to focus more on improving the deliverables (i.e. the what) that each team member is able to deliver - not how they deliver it (e.g. working 8am - 5pm).

OUR TECHNOLOGY

IN CYBERSECURITY: Due to a rise in cyber-fraud globally, we've extended the scope of our technology from education to cybersecurity. We're applying NLP, Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning to help consumers and enterprise employees stay safe online.
